It's no longer supportedĭevelopers have to regularly update plugins to keep them compliant with the latest version of WordPress. ![]() ![]() When this happens, you'll need to uninstall the rogue plugin. While plugin developers try to follow agreed standards, sometimes problems occur, and you get conflicts between plugins or a plugin and a theme. It might be that a plugin you installed is causing a problem on your site. ![]() That's perfectly fine, but you need to uninstall the ones you don't like and aren't going to use. When you're looking to add some new functionality, you'll likely download a few similar plugins to test which one you like best. When you no longer need it, you should uninstall it. You've outgrown itĪs your site grows, your needs change, so a plugin you required several months ago may now be redundant. Thousands of free and premium WordPress plugins are available to download and install-but why would you want to uninstall one? Well, there are several reasons: 1. WordPress plugins are small software apps that add new features or extend the base functionality on your site. So how do you get rid of these unwanted leftovers? Stay tuned as I show you how to uninstall a WordPress plugin completely. But there's always a chance they might lead to trouble down the line. Most of the time, these leftovers don't cause a problem. This will show running apps, and lets you force-quit them if necessary - just highlight the Citrix WorkSpace App and click Force Quit.While everything might appear ok on the surface, you'll find a trail of leftover tables, files, and code snippets underneath. Press Cmd + Alt + Escape to see the Force Quit Applications menu. You can also keep the user data that was previously synchronized on your system by Follow Me Data. The files and folders that are compatible with this feature are listed. In version 11.6, the Follow Me Data feature is integrated into the Citrix Receiver for Mac. It is important to remember that certain items mentioned in this article might not exist on your system depending on the Receiver version(s) you previously installed. Note that certain folder mentioned in the list can be hidden directories on the system. A path without a tilde refers to the system-wide version of that folder at the root of the system (e.g. For example, ~/Library/Preferences/ refers to the Preferences folder within the user's Library folder (e.g. ![]() Under this folder, you can delete any applications you previously added via the Receiver UI.Ī tilde (~) placed at the beginning of a folder path refers to that folder’s location within the user profile.
